This project for Bass Lofts was so exciting. While working closely with the resident - I had quite a bit of creative freedom. The wall was substantial, about 10 feet- and in direct sunlight most of the day, so we had to be cautious of bright colors. We decided on something free, fun and saturated! I needed to communicate a general idea and composition but knew a lot of texture and detail would have to be decided day of- a paintbrush wasn’t gunna do the job. I bought grates, sponges, and even a storm drain to create the textures needed.

So happy with the way this turned out! The mural was commissioned by the previous resident but Bass Lofts loved it so much it is now included in the lease agreement.
